Rate your Spanish Level
Below you may find a general grade scale to rate your current language level.
Beginner I: Basic oral handling of the language. You are able to interact and communicate in a simple way. You are ready to provide and exchange personal data and basic information if the dialogue develops slowly and clearly.
Beginner II: You are able to communicate efficiently in daily routine tasks. More developed oral handling of the language and deeper listening comprehension.
Intermediate I: Grammatical and written language achievements. You can produce simple texts that include descriptions of events and situations, hopes and desires. You can provide explanations and reasons of action. Handling of the present and future forms.
Intermediate II: Achievement of higher language fluency and spontaneity during oral communication. You can produce detailed texts of specific subjects and topics and explain clearly your points of view and opinions.
Advanced: Flexible and spontaneously use of the language. Fluent communication and handling of vocabulary for specific contexts and for social, academic and professional purposes.
Superior: Fluent and spontaneously use of the language in complex situations. You are able to distinguish different shades of meaning. Extensive grammar production enclosing a wide variety of topics and opinion exposure in a professional manner. |
